In the use of excavators, bearings often leak lubricating oil, and the leaked oil and butter become thinner together, and it is difficult to distinguish the kinds! How do you tell what kind of oil is leaking?

The first step is to check whether the lower limit or high tide of the rotary tooth box gear oil surface, if it is the gear oil surface down or basically no can be directly determined as the grinding disc oil seal damage under the rotary tooth box.

Elimination method: check whether there is damage to the reducer tooth box gear, if the reducer gear is normal, but also check whether the upper and lower bearings of the rotary shaft clearance is too large or the bearing seat clearance is too large, if there is a problem, should replace the bearing or repair the bearing seat housing! Check whether the contact surface of the oil seal and the vertical shaft is seriously worn, and if necessary, the oil seal lip spring can be properly cut to increase the tightness of the oil seal or change the position of the oil seal lip!

If the oil surface in the rotary tooth box increases significantly, it can be concluded that the rotary motor skeleton oil seal is damaged, because the hydraulic oil in the motor is damaged by the pressure from the tooth box to the following tooth box. Therefore, the motor skeleton and the grinding disc oil seal must be replaced at the same time! When removing the motor, it is necessary to carefully check whether the clearance of the motor shaft cover bearing is too large, which causes the centrifugal rotation of the motor shaft to cause the damage of the oil seal!

If the oil surface in the rotary tooth box is normal, it can be determined that the rotary center joint oil seal is damaged! The most obvious symptom is a lack of power to walk on one or both sides!

Exclusion method: replace the oil seal inside, but also check whether the contact surface of the first oil seal on the shaft is worn! If the wear is serious, it must be repaired. If it is not repaired, even if it is replaced with a new oil seal, it will not be used for long and it will leak! Because the cost of replacing the shaft rod is too high, it is generally chosen to repair, which can be covered or repaired and then used normally by bed polishing.

If the above three causes are excluded, there is another possibility that the sealing ring of the rotary main support bearing is damaged! It's just butter, which is easy to tell because of its viscosity.
